This week, Uptown Magazine honored acclaimed film and television director, writer, and producer Lee Daniels at the 2015 Annual Uptown Pre-Oscar Gala. The Gala, took place at West Hollywood’s Fig & Olive and celebrated Daniels and his extraordinary work including his critically acclaimed films ‘The Butler’, ‘Monsters Ball’, and ‘Precious’, and most recently Fox’s new hit drama ‘Empire’, among many others.
