Giuliana Rancic is issuing a video apology, to Zendaya, just days after making controversial comments about the faux locs worn by the actress/singer on the Oscars red carpet. On the video, posted on E!, she states:
I’d really like to address something that is weighing very heavy on my heart. I want to apologize for a comment that I made on last night’s fashion police about send a as hair as you know fashion please is a show that pokes fun at celebrities in good spirit. But I do understand that something I said last night did cross the line. I just want everyone to know I didn’t intend

I recognize her effort and want to accept this apology as genuine. I cringe with the “I” statements that nearly suggest the harm she’s felt from the reaction. Just as easily has those offensive comments flew from her lips, I would have much appreciated if she clearly articulated her understanding of why her statements were harmful and offensive. More than just naming it as a stereotype, demonstrate that you truly can name the specific harm of your comments. Also, apologies for the grossly inadequate attempt at an apology by redirecting your comment and calling it “bohemian chic”. Go find yourself and do better, forever.
You can tell from GulleeAnna’s body language that she wasn’t Sincere. Hopefully this will teach GulleeAnna to keep her Ghoulish Mouth Shut.
