(EXCLUSIVE) Ex NFL’er Hugh Douglas’ Mistress Battles Him Over Alleged Incriminating Docs, in Assault Case

Douglas said that he did take Davila to a hotel room on September 22nd 2013, but she became upset and decided to leave on her own.

He said he never walked down the hall and removed her from an elevator … and never, “lifted Ms. Davila up by her neck and began “walking” her down the hall by the neck, with her legs dangling in the air, asphyxiating her” — nor did he bang her head against the hallway or make her lose consciousness.

Douglas claimed that Davila

routinely invaded his privacy by examining his telephone and other electronic devices in an effort to learn of any other relationships with women. Defendant also admits one physical confrontation with plaintiff in which plaintiff struck defendant in the face with sufficient force to cause a nose bleed.

Ultimately, he demanded the lawsuit be dismissed. Then on February 16th, Davila filed docs demanding Douglas be sanctioned by the court for playing dirty legal games. She says that for several months she attempted to resolve the lawsuit privately with him, but the talks were unsuccessful.

Then she explains that Douglas has refused to hand over documents during the discovery phase of the legal battle. She demanded he turn over all communications he had with another person regarding the hotel incident, all names of people who have accused him of assault or battery, tax returns for the years 2011 – present and all documents pertaining to his termination from ESPN in 2013 — and she says this is a violation of the courts order to exchange discovery.

Davilia states that Douglas is also refusing to sit down for a deposition and cancelled one scheduled earlier this month. She is demanding he be sanctioned by the court and ordered to hand over the docs she requested.
