(EXCLUSIVE) DMX – Judge Orders $61K Music Royalties to Be Paid to Ex-Wife for Child Support
The judge residing over the case ordered that Universal Music pay Amusing Diversions a total of $33,377.66 by July 31st and to also pay Tashera a total of $45K by the same date. The judge also ordered Universal Music to return to court months later and provide accounting of all DMX’s music income.
Then on April 13th, the judge ordered even more of DMX’s music royalties to be paid to his ex-wife for child support for their 5 kids.
The order explains that per accounting records provided by Universal Music, DMX is still receiving income from his music. Per the court documents, the judge instructed Universal Music to pay Tashera a total of $61,336 from the money the rapper has made from his royalties.
The judge notes that Universal has until this week to pay Tashera the money and also show the court accounting for his future royalties in October in court. See the exclusive court docs.
