Jay Z Announces Free Concert, “Tidal X: Jay Z B-Sides”

Jay Z

On Sunday, Jay Z hopped on Twitter to defend some of the criticism surrounding TIDAL, writing:

Tidal is doing just fine. We have over 770,000 subs. We have been in business less than one month. #TidalFacts The iTunes Store wasn’t built in a day. It took Spotify 9 years to be successful…We are here for the long haul.

Please give us a chance to grow & get better. #TidalFacts There are many big companies that are spending millions on a smear campaign. We are not anti-anyone, we are pro-artist & fan. #TidalFacts We made Tidal for fans. We have more than just music.

Jay ain’t letting this thing die without a fight.. he is pulling out all the stops. Concerts, calling subscribers, twitter vents.. i just wish he had as much passion and used his power and influence for issues that actually matter and not his own pockets. Issues like #BringBackOurGirls #BlackLivesMatter #WhoCarriedBlueIvybcitWasntBey #WhySolangeMollywhoopYou..but no, that would be too much like right.

Yeah…he’s desperate..plus his music is whacked anyway.
I hope he and his wife stay on the east coast..because we on the left coast don’t want him over here.

Maybe he’s too busy bringing jobs to Brooklyn , something NO ONE ELSE who claims to rep. Brooklyn has done. By the way Jay-Z has been advocating for more jobs in the hood for YEARS, you would know that if you bothered to broden your mind and watch something else besides BET!
