Keke Palmer Unveils the Jesse Owens Mural at Warren Lane Elementary School in Inglewood [Photos]
This week, a mural honoring Olympian Jesse Owens created by Los Angeles students was unveiled at Warren Lane Elementary School, in Inglewood, CA.
Guided by P.S. Arts Teaching Artist Tiffany Graham, the students researched and discussed Owens’ history and collaborated on the design and execution.
Award-winning actress and singer Keke Palmer was on hand to witness the unveiling of the mural. The Brotherly Love actress was also the keynote speaker, giving an inspirational speech to students about the importance of the day and the significance of pursing one’s education.
