Religion Goes Mainstream: Daytime TV Welcomes Bishop TD Jakes

Aside from the upcoming talk show, Jakes is widely known to many as the founding pastor of The Potters House, a Dallas mega-church. He’s also a New York Times Best Selling Author and Movie Producer.

As an author Jakes has pinned more than 50 books, which includes He-motions, Instinct and Destiny. In 2013, Jakes partnered with BET for his first talk show: Mind, Body and Spirit.
