Joseph C. Phillips Tells All: Claims Bill Cosby Groped, Propositioned & Exposed himself.

He also claims that Cosby assaulted  his close friend whom Cosby mentored and also looked up to him like a “play father.” Phillips describes the encounter where his close friend recounts being assaulted by Cosby. He says,

Through tears, she told me her story. She cursed him for violating both her trust and her body. She cursed herself for not being smarter and for degrading herself in pursuit of success.

Phillips saw Cosby as a mentor as well. He said that it was hard to see his idol being accused of such allegations but his feelings could not compare to those of the victims to Cosby’s alleged assaults.

Discovering that the man you idolize may be a serial rapist is a bit traumatic. I don’t imagine it is anything near to the trauma of the alleged victims. Nevertheless, I found it unsettling.
