Lee Daniels Throws Shade, Then Jokes About ‘Empire’ Being Snubbed By Emmys [VIDEO]

If there’s one thing that Lee Daniels loves to do, its tell us how he REALLY feels. So we weren’t too surprised, at his reaction to ‘Empire’ being left out (sorta – kinda), by the EMMYS. Although Taraji P. Henson did receive a nomination for Best Actress in a Drama, some felt like Terrence Howard deserved a nomination, along with the series who was not nominated for Outstanding Drama Series.
Anywho, after hearing news about the nominations, Lee hopped on Instagram with Jussie Smollett, posting the following video.

he’s such a queen.. but i can’t wait for Season 2..
One of my favorite shows. But I can understand it not being nominated. There are holes in the writing and some of the story lines seem thrown together. Taraji deserves her nomination because she can act her butt off despite some of the shows flaws. Looking forward to season two!
Anonymous,You can critique all you like.But,I think its a “blackish” show.Whites dont paticularly like what we like when it comes to comedy and certain tv shows.They werent hosting Empire parties.They didnt care for the show.Thats why I believe it wasnt nominated.
