(EXCLUSIVE) Kanye West Blasts Latin Musician’s Lawsuit Accusing Him of Tarnishing Band’s Reputation
Kanye West is knee-deep in yet another lawsuit. theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports that the 38-year-old artist/designer/mogul is blasting a lawsuit accusing him of ruining the reputation of a Latin musical duo via a film he is producing with Damon Dash, claiming the complaint is nothing but BS and is demanding it be thrown out and the man suing him pay his legal bills.
Michael Medina – a member of a Latin musical group named “Loisadias” filed a federal lawsuit against Kanye West and Damon Dash earlier this year. He accused the music moguls of stealing his band’s name and ruining their good reputation.
“Loisaidas” is a Latin musical duo – based in NYC – that was formed back in 2008. The band member explained the name is slang for the Lower East Side and he claims that Kanye and Damon stole the name and used it for a new movie executive produced by them.
