(UPDATE) Rich Homie Quan Releases Statement, In Response To Weed Video With Son: I am sorry for my actions.

Rich Homie Quan may not be getting the Parent of the Year Award snytime soon. This week, a few folk on social media were STUNNED when they saw an Instagram video circulating of him, smoking weed — with a child on his lap. While marijuana may be legal in some states, some were alarmed that an underage child — who is his one-year-old son — was in very close proximity.

According to TMZ, Child Protective Services has been notified and they’re extremely concerned. Law enforcement sources tell the site that the Georgia authorities saw the video of his son on his lap and were immediately alarmed. Child Protective Services and the Fulton County Police Department have now teamed up to investigate. Sources tell the site that CPS wants to question the rapper — specifically in regards to what he was smoking. They also want to know if this is normal behavior. In short, he could face possible criminal charges, including endangering a child and reckless behavior.
