Gabourey Sidibe On 50 Cent Taking Jabs at ‘Empire’: “I don’t see why we both can’t co-exist.”

While some feel that 50’s comments take away from the focus of the show, she insists the drama did not ruin the series premiere for the cast:

My cast we’re a bunch of idiots. We’re so goofy and we’re like a huge family.We watched last night a total of four times. We literally watched it over and over again.

As you know, 50’s most recent criticism about the show, came in light of the season premiere. On the first episode, Taraji P. Henson’s character, Cookie, calls out 50 Cent. In response, the rapper took to Instagram, where he posted a video saying,

I can’t believe Cookie would say some s*** like that about me.

Adding:

Thirsty, me? Thirsty? Come on. You stupid. Me and Cookie go way back. You know I hit that.
