Kanye West Performs At Democratic National Committee Fundraiser + President Obama Dishes Presidential Advice [VIDEO]
Over the weekend, President Obama dished both jokes and advice to Kanye West at the Democratic National Committee fundraiser in San Francisco. As you know, earlier this month, Ye expressed his interest in running for president in the future and the president shared a few jokes to his fellow Chicago native, stating:
First of all, you got to spend a lot of time dealing with some strange characters who behave like they’re on a reality TV show… Second important tip: Saying that you have a beautiful dark twisted fantasy? That’s what’s known as off-message in politics. You can’t say something like that. A lot of people have lost their congressional seats saying things like that… And number three: Do you really think that this country is going to elect a black guy from the South Side of Chicago with a funny name to be president of the United States? That is crazy. That’s cray.
Check out footage of Obama’s advice.
After listening to Obama’s advice backstage, Kanye took to the stage performing an 18-song set of his greatest hits. See some of the photos and clips of his performance below.
