Both Raven-Symoné and Lee Daniels are featured in Out Magazine’s Out100. Symoné, shot by Ryan Pfluger, reveals that just two years ago, she died to quit the entertainment business enrolling in San Francisco’s Academy of Art University, but then to “pay the bills” she started taking on projects like Fox’s Empire. The 29-year-old later joined The View,

I was perfectly OK with just school and not having a job. But the love and family nature I felt at The View brought me back to TV in a permanent way.

Though her comments often land her in the media, she refuses NOT to speak her mind.

This country has continuously ostracized groups of people that have a truth different from the status quo. I will continue to tell my truth.
