How did you find out?

Brandy laughed and said,

I called him yesterday and said, Wendy’s going to ask me if you’re engaged or not and I need to know and he said yea, tell her I’m engaged.

She added,

I think my mom is going to find out today after watching the show.

Brandy also opened up about being a mother to a teenager,

She loves me but she’s transitioning into her own identity. It’s difficult you know to be the daughter of someone whose in the limelight. She wants her own identity and I get that, but she loves me.
