Taraji P. Henson to Star in ‘Hidden Figures’ + ‘Kocktails With Khloe’ Gets More Episodes

Taraji P. Henson has signed on to star in Fox 2000’s new film, Hidden Figures, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The film will be directed by Ted Melfi and is about a group of black women who provided NASA with important mathematical data needed to launch the program’s first successful space missions.

Fox is planning to release the film Jan. 13, 2017, to coincide with the Martin Luther King holiday weekend. The Empire star shared her excitement about the film on Instagram.

Johnson (born August 26, 1918) is an American physicist, space scientist, and mathematician who contributed to America’s aeronautics and space programs with the early application of digital electronic computers at NASA. And in other news, Khloe Kardashian’s talk show, Kocktails with Khloe is getting more episodes. FYI has greenlighted 15 more episodes, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

In January, Kocktails With Khloe debuted to 496,000 viewers in live-plus-three numbers and 313,000 viewers among ages 18-49. The premiere episode gave A+E’s young cable channel its highest-rated series launch among all key demos. Congrats to her!
