When 23-year-old NFL player Odell Beckham Jr. showed up at the Grammys after-party with 19-year-old Zendaya Coleman, everyone immediately started talking. Are they dating or nah? The pair didn’t seem too flirty on the red carpet, but they did show up in the same car. Anywho, Zendaya’s father has quickly killed rumors that his daughter is dating the New York Giants wide receiver. When asked by the camera man about the two, her dad interjects:

What relationship? There’s no relationship. We’re just friends.

When asked if he’s playing chaperone, he says:

Absolutely. When you see my daughter out on a date without me, it’s a relationship.

He adds,

It’s like an audition. It’s an interview.
