(EXCLUSIVE) Sara Stokes No Longer Suing BET Over Reality Show
It’s all love between Sara Stokes and BET. theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports, the singer and reality star is no longer suing BET/Viacom and their issues have been resolved. Previously, Sara Stokes threatened legal action over her portrayal on BET/Centric’s docu-series/reality show, From the Bottom Up. However, a source tells us exclusively,
she is no longer suing BET and she is in discussions for Season 2. After a series of text messages and phone calls from Nicci Gilbert, and the Network’s executives expressed interest in her commitment to return to the show.
We’re told that Sara’s team came together to discuss the possibilities around a return to the show and partnering with Nicci (Gilbert), since Sara is the reason the show received massive exposure and their highest ratings.
While most of us were introduced to the singer on MTV’s hit show Making Da Band, fans were thrilled when they learned she was returning to the reality TV realm. theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively broke the news last year, that the show would follow five women who were very successful in the past and lost everything due to substantial circumstances, ranging from controversy to jail time.
We’re glad all parties involved ironed out their differences and are planning for a second season.
