Monica & Husband Shannon Brown Make 1st Public Appearance, Since Cheating Rumors

Beyonce brings folk together. Just ask Monica and her husband Shannon Brown. The singer and former NBA baller were spotted last night, in Atlanta, at Beyonce’s ‘Formation World Tour‘ backstage. Monica (who was wearing her wedding ring) posted a photo of the pair, with the caption:

As you know, just a few weeks ago, the two made headlines for having some marital problems. In fact, there were reports that they had separated. Last month, rumors surfaced that Shannon was allegedly cheating on her with multiple women. Shortly thereafter, Monica was spotted without her wedding ring, performing at a concert, leading folk to speculate on their relationship status.

We’re told that Monica ALWAYS wears her wedding ring.

Monica and Shannon met in 2010, when she was looking for someone to play the love interest in her video for “Love All Over Me”. Monica later announced her engagement to Brown via her Twitter account, posting a photo of a rose-cut diamond ring. On November 22, 2010, the couple married in a secret ceremony at their Los Angeles home. The marriage, however, did not become a matter of public record until January 21, 2011. They had a second wedding ceremony for family and friends in July 2011. On September 3, 2013, Monica gave birth to their daughter, Laiyah Shannon Brown.

Anywho, we hear that the two are back together, fully working on their relationship. Sweet!
