Rumor has it, Janet Jackson’s decision to expand her family was because she was pressured by her mother, Katherine Jackson. One of Janet Jackson’s family members tells The Post, that last year, her 86-year-old mother brought up the subject of her having children. The source says,

[Katherine Jackson] said to Janet, ‘You cannot afford to wait too much longer. I was already a grandma at your age.’

Reportedly, Katherine is “thrilled” she’ll be a grandmother for the 28th time. The source adds,

It would mean that all of her children have given her grandchildren. She hopes that she can be in the room when Janet gives birth.

This week, news broke that Janet is pregnant. This will be her and hubby Wissam Al Mana’s first child together.
