Gloria Govan Reacts To Gilbert Arenas Dragging Laura Govan On Social Media, Addresses Fall-Out With Sister
Former Basketball Wives star Gloria Govan is opening up about her sister Laura Govan’s claims that she slept with her ex, Gilbert Arenas. During an interview with HipHollywood, she says that she loves her sister, but hints that they relation is now strained:
My sister and I are family. Honestly, you don’t get to choose your family, by any means. I love my sister to death. We will always be sisters. But I think that’s as far as it goes, unfortunately.
Govan, who has twin boys with NBA player Matt Barnes, didn’t elaborate on if the two have actually spoke since Laura’s allegations, but she did say she’s hopeful that their relationship will get better.
I know eventually we will get there, but we’re family, so we love each other one day and hate each other the next. It’s all good. At the end of the day, I still got her back whenever she needs it.
Meanwhile, she says she has made an effort to stay out Laura’s drama with her ex/baby daddy Gilbert Arenas:
I’ve learned to just moonwalk my way out of everyone else’s drama. I just stay out of it.
Govan did, however, say she thinks Arenas is harmless and finds his memes, posts and videos about her sister on Instagram pretty hilarious.
