Some of your favorite actors and singers are prepping for a new movie called The 10th Date. Directed by Nzingha Stewart, the film’s cast includes: Brandon T. Jackson, Meagan Good, Kelly Rowland, Keri Hilson, Kellee Stewart, Andra Fuller and Flex Alexander. This week, the Jackson posted a photo of the cast doing a table read.
The 10th Date is a comedy that follows four friends who embark on an often hilarious journey to successfully get to that elusive 10th date — a holy grail in the dating world when they think a man finally feels committed. It chronicles every woman’s battles with the ups and downs of modern romance, exes and friendships while watching their other friends struggle with the realities of marriage and dating. The film will reportedly air on Lifetime.
We also spotted D.L. Hughley, Elise Neal, Cedric the Entertainer, Terry Vaughn, Eddie Griffin and Charlie Murphy filming BET’s ‘Comedy Getdown’.
And in other news, Mary J. Blige will appear on season 3 of ABC’s How To Get Away With Murder. No details about her new role have yet been shared. How To Get Away With Murder returns Sept. 22 at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
