(EXCLUSIVE) Blair Underwood Hit With Tax Lien
theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports, Blair Underwood has refused to pay up on a $50k tax bill and the actor has been hit with a State Tax lien demanding he pay up or else.
The State of California filed a tax lien against the actor earlier this year in Los Angeles Court. The official records accuses Underwood of not paying $49,396 in back taxes.
The lien lists the actor’s wife Desiree as a co-debtor for the amount owed. The actor faces his property and assets being seized by the state if he doesn’t pay up quickly. According to records, the lien is still active and has yet to be paid off by Underwood.
Underwood is a film, and stage actor and director. He played headstrong attorney Jonathan Rollins on the NBC legal drama L.A. Law for seven years. He has received two Golden Globe Award nominations, three NAACP Image Awards and one Grammy Award. In recent years, he has appeared as Andrew Garner on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The New Adventures of Old Christine, Dirty Sexy Money and In Treatment and was in NBC’s The Event.
