You’re pretty private about your personal life, why did you decide to share the news?

Diamond: Yes, I am very private about my personal life, but at the same time I have a special relationship with my fans. We are friends, we have evolved, grown up together. This is exciting news and a blessing, I’m extremely happy why not share with the world!?

theJasmineBRAND.com: We caught a glimpse of your partner on Snapchat. Can you share anything about who he is and what he’s like?

Diamond: He’s a businessman originally from Chicago. We’ve known each other for four years before we started dating, plus we were friends before lovers. That actually brought us together. He’s a male version of me LOL.  I’ve had my share of dating little boys now I can say that I’m with a real man.

theJasmineBRAND.com: You recently celebrated the release of your new album, P.M.S., Pardon My Slayage. How would you describe this album?

Diamond: This album showed my growth from being a young teenager. I’ll talk about everything from personal experiences, my grind partying in the club, and still given that double time unapologetic rhyme that I’m known for.

theJasmineBRAND.com: We love watching you on Sisterhood of Hip Hop. Do you have any plans to do any other TV projects?

Diamond: Absolutely! I love doing television from TV shows, talk shows, to hosting.

theJasmineBRAND.com: Do you regret turning down Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta?

Diamond: Not at all. I’ve enjoyed filming three seasons of Sisterhood of Hip Hop, now it’s time to visit the other television opportunities that are on the table.
