(EXCLUSIVE) Master P Legal Battle Over Snoop Dismissed
theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports, Master P scored a huge break in the $255k legal battle over accusations he lied to a concert booker about being able to secure Snoop Dogg for an overseas concert, with the lawsuit be dismissed and the rapper turned mogul having all claims against him thrown out.
Here’s the latest: On September 26th, docs were filed in the case by Infinity Limitless Event Management which explain they are voluntarily dismissing all claims against Master P and his company. They say that they have not served the rapper with the legal docs but, are still dismissing the case completely. However, the company has the option to refile at a later date.
Here’s the backstory: Earlier this year, the company, Infinity Limitless Event Management,
filed a federal lawsuit against Percy Miller aka Master P and Gut Up LLC.
The suit explained that in November 2015, the company entered into a deal with Master P to arrange for himself and Snoop Dogg to perform in Dubai on New Years Eve.
The company sent off a $255k advance to Master P following the contract being signed.
However, they claimed they later learned that Snoop Dogg was never available for a concert on NYE due to him being booked for a show at the Venetian in Las Vegas.
They then demanded the return of the full advance from Master P, but their requests were ignored and no money was ever paid back.
Infinity Limitless Event Management accused Master P of breaching their contact along with fraud for lying to them about being able to actually secure Snoop for the concert.
They demanded the return of the full $255k, along with economic and actual damages for the out-of-pocket expenses they paid for including hotels, deposits and prepaid expenses along with loss profit for the cancelled show and damages for the harm done to their relationship with Dubai.
Master P responded to the lawsuit demanding it be thrown out.
