(EXCLUSIVE) Adrienne Bailon’s Fiance Israel Houghton Child Support Case Wasn’t Filed By Baby Mama: He goes above and beyond for his kids.

theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports, there are new details surrounding reports that gospel artist Israel Houghton, who is engaged to The Real’s Adrienne Bailon, owes child support for two alleged children that he had with another woman, while married to his now ex-wife.

Here’s the latest: Sources tell theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively that Israel always goes ‘above and beyond‘ to take care of his children. The source adds,

This was not a suit by the mother at all. She too is being summonsed, simply because it wasn’t done by the court – as in “child support”, which technically would be way less than what he has provided from birth. Just because it’s undocumented, doesn’t mean they weren’t perfectly taken care of.

Here’s the backstory: According to Bossip,  the Texas State Attorney General’s Child Support Division has sued Houghton, in order to force him to pay for the upkeep of the two children he allegedly fathered while still married to his wife now ex wife, Meleasa Houghton. The site reports:

The attorney general demanded in court papers recently that Houghton start paying both back and current child support for the two sons (aged 4 and 2) as well as medical expenses and health insurance. The state wants Houghton come up with his tax returns, checking and savings accounts statements, 401K info, proof of health insurance coverage and income history so that the court can figure out how much he owes. And if Houghton doesn’t play ball, the attorney general’s office said it’s not above garnishing the man’s wages to pay for the children’s needs.

As previously reported, Israel and his ex Meleasa divorced this year. Houghton opened up about their split earlier this year, revealing that they had privately separated awhile ago. Israel and Meleasa share two older children. The two children mentioned in this case are NOT from his marriage to Melease, but allegedly from another relationship that he had while he was legally married.
