Mega Sports Agent Drew Rosenhaus Is Suing Ex NFL’er Ashlee Palmer
theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports, mega sports agent Drew Rosenhaus has headed to Federal Court accusing his former client, NFL player Ashlee Palmer, of refusing to pay up on $86k owed in commissions for negotiating his football contracts. He is demanding a judge order him to pay up ASAP.
Here’s the latest: This month, the arbitrator determined Palmer did owe Rosenahaus a total of $86k and ordered Palmer to pay up. Rosenhaus is now filing suit demanding the federal court confirm the amount owed and order the NFL’er to cough up the money ASAP.
Here’s the backstory: Rosenahaus explains he successfully negotiated a 1-year contract for Palmer with the Detroit Lions back in 2011. Then he got him another 1-year extension the following year and a 2-year extension with the Lions for the 2013 season.
He was owed a total of $89,700 in commission for negotiating the deals. Palmer paid him only $29,700 for his work which reduced the debt to $60k.
The agent also issued seven promissory notes totaling $34,500 to Palmer but he only paid back $8,500 leaving $26k owed. Despite numerous attempts to get Palmer to pay him the money, the NFL star refused and then Rosenhaus took him to arbitration court.
