Charlamagne Tha God Pens New Book
Charlamagne tha God is dabbling in the literary world. The outspoke radio and TV personality is penning his first book.
The ever-raw co-host of the syndicated radio show “The Breakfast Club” has a deal with Simon & Schuster’s imprint Touchstone. The book is called “Black Privilege: Opportunity Comes to Those Who Create It” and is scheduled for next spring.
With “brutally honest insights,” Charlamagne plans to recount his rise from a dirt road in Moncks Corner, South Carolina, to national fame through radio and MTV. He will also discuss working with Wendy Williams.
Charlamagne said in a statement that as an English teacher’s son he had always loved books and working a book himself was a “dream fulfilled.”
The book, available for pre-order, will be released April 18, 2017.
