Hilton Celebrates 8 Amazing Women At EBONY Power 100 Gala

Entering a second-year partnership with EBONY, Hilton was the proud sponsor of the EBONY Power 100 Women Up category, one of many categories featured during the 2016 EBONY Power 100 gala, held at the iconic Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles on Thursday, December 1. Celebrating #blackgirlmagic, the category paid tribute to illustrious African-American women, who excel at breaking down barriers, challenging and changing public perceptions of what it means to be strong, successful women. This year’s honorees included among others, HBO’s Insecure star, Issa Rae, and tennis legend, Serena Williams. Sponsorship of the category rounded-out Hilton’s partnership with EBONY for the 2016 EBONY Women Up event series, which were held in New York and Chicago, respectively. Check out the photos!

Andrea Richardson, introduced the Women Up honorees during the 2106 EBONY Power 100 gala. Hilton’s sponsorship of the category is part of the brand’s 2016 multicultural marketing initiative, Celebrating Our Stories, which is geared towards the African-American consumer.
