Singer George Michael Dies At 53 [Condolences]
Update #2. According to multiple reports, George Michael died from heart failure. His publicist, Cindi Berger, said he had not been ill. Michael’s manager, Michael Lippman, says the cause of death was heart failure.

Sad news. British singer George Michael has died. He began his career in the 80’s with the group Wham! and found massive successful a solo artist. Michael’s publicist stated,
It is with great sadness that we can confirm our beloved son, brother and friend George passed away peacefully at home over the Christmas period. The family would ask that their privacy be respected at this difficult and emotional time. There will be no further comment at this stage.
Born, Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou in North London, Michael sold more than 100 million albums in his 40 year plus career. His popular hits include “I Knew You Were Waiting” featuring Aretha Franklin, “Faith,” and “Father Figure.” His debut album “Faith” released in 1987 has sold more than 25 million units to date. He has released seven solo albums with the latest “Symphonica” being released in 2014. In 2011, Michael was treated for pneumonia after postponing a series of concerts. Earlier this month, it was announced he was working on a new album. No additional details have yet been released.
