Steve Harvey Explains Meeting With Trump

On Friday, Steve Harvey met with President-elect Donald Trump at his Manhattan headquarters. The comedian and TV host said that they discussed inner-city housing issues. He explained,

It’s not my jump into politics, I ain’t going to pass a background check. It’s just me following orders from my friend, President Obama who encouraged citizens to get organized and take action.

Harvey said that Trump made an introduction to Ben Carson, Trump’s pick to lead the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Harvey added,

He said he wanted to do something. It’s an honor to be invited to talk. I really enjoyed the conversation.

Give me a break Steve. Do you realize the only time Trump comes down to speak with the media is when a black man comes you Kanye Jim Brown? Everyday a slew of white people come to see him and he never comes down to speak with the press.
