Donald Trump Meets With Kanye West

Donald Trump and Kanye West met Tuesday morning. The rapper, who was recently hospitalized, and the president-elect briefly chatted with reporters from the lobby of Trump Tower. Here’s footage of Kanye arriving at Trump’s hotel.

When arriving, Ye avoided questions from reporters and was joined by Kris Jenner’s boyfriend, Cory Gamble. His wife, Kim Kardashian, was not present. The pair reportedly met for 15 minutes. When asked what they had discussed, Trump said only,

We’ve been friends for a long time.

Kanye, who is said to be in NYC to interview psychiatrists, remained mostly mum. When pressed to comment about the meeting and his plans to run for president in 2020, he said:

I just wanted to take a picture right now.

No further details of the meeting have been released. This is one of the Ye’s first public appearances since being hospitalized three weeks ago for exhaustion and sleep deprivation.
