Taxstone Arrested Over Deadly Concert Shooting
Taxstone Arrested
On Monday, Taxstone (real name Daryl Campbell) was arrested in connection with Irving Plaza shooting that happened last May in NYC, that wounded rapper Troy Ave (real name Roland Collins) and killed his bodyguard, Ronald McPhatter.
The popular podcast personality is scheduled to appear in federal court on a weapons possession charge Tuesday.
According to a report, he was arrested at his aunt’s house in East New York and was escorted by detectives from the 13th Precinct station house in Gramercy Park.
Sources say he is wanted for a federal warrant that charged him with being a felon in possession of a firearm, but he was also being sought by the NYPD in connection to the Irving Plaza shooting.
As previously reported, Troy Ave is free on $500,000 bail. Cops charged Troy Ave in the Irving Plaza shooting and pleaded not guilty. Story developing.
