Beyonce Giving College Scholarships To Black Women
Beyonce is giving back! The 35-year-old mega star is celebrating the anniversary of her killer album “Lemonade” by announcing scholarships for black women to attend selected colleges. This week, she announced that her Formation Scholars Award will go to a single black woman student at four schools. The schools are Boston’s Berklee College of Music, New York’s Parsons School of Design and two historically black colleges, Howard University in Washington, D.C. and Atlanta’s Spelman College.
To be eligible, the applicants must incoming, current or graduate students studying creative arts, music, literature or African-American Studies. Each school will have one scholarship to award, and information to apply is available at the schools.
