Karrueche Tran Gets 5 Year Restraining Order Against Chris Brown
Chris Brown has officially been ordered to stay away from his ex girlfriend, Karrueche Tran. Reportedly, a judge ordered that the restraining order stay in place for the next five years. According to a report, Karrueche was present for the trial, but the singer did not attend.
While on the stand during the hearing, Tran told the judge Brown allegedly demanded she return diamond rings he bought for her and, after she refused, he became aggressive. Per the report, she claimed in court that after their breakup, he allegedly told her he was going to ban her from all events and would not be nice to her in public. “If I see you out in public again and I’m there, I will make you hate me even more,” Tran claimed he told her. She also claimed he told her he would “beat the shit” out of her and would make her life “hell.”
As previously reported, a temporary restraining order was filed by Karrueche against Chris on Feb. 17. She claimed that Chris had been harassing her and her friends. She also claimed that Chris had threatened to kill her to others. In the court docs, her friend wrote:
In the past, Chris Brown has threatened me and run up on me for not allowing him to bully Karrueche Tran in my presence. More recently, making threats to her saying that he will beat anyone that is friends with her.
Chris has yet to comment on the judge’s decision.
