A new Beyonce wax figure has surfaced and the Beyhive is unimpressed. This week, a photo on social media surfaced of what is said to be a Beyoncé wax figure at Madame Tussauds.

The wax figures are proof that they see Beyonce as a mixed or white woman. She’s light brown skin not white. Her facial features are not even close to these…. but … well she’s the one going around saying she’s Native American, French and African American. When your Mom has afro hair and your dad is dark how can you claim to be mixed? If this is the case all African Americans are mixed if you are tracing it back to slavery??

On point! I remember when I first saw that Native American, French, African American mess on the Loreal commercial. Couldn’t just say she was African American, have to be “ethnically neutral” to appease her fans and potential fans. Welp, here’s the result.
You know why it’s such an insult to Black women? Every time a Black female celebrity is accepted as beautiful, and talented they start asking what they are mixed with. Sadly, so many African American women see this as a compliment instead of the full on insult it is. If those in power can assume you cannot be Black and beautiful their close minded view of beauty will always seep into the eyes and ears of our little Black girls of all shades. Beyonce is just as black as Me and LaQuita or every other Black girl who’s light skin because of slavery.
Harpo…who dis white woman? In all seriousness when I looked at the picture and had not seen the headline I did not think that was Beyonce whatsoever.
