Trans Community Ignites Breakfast Club Boycott Over Jokes
Some members of the transgender community are calling for a boycott from the popular Breakfast Club radio show. The show and it’s guest, Lil ‘Duval, are under fire for some of the comments that the controversial comedian made about trans author and activist Janet Mock, who had been on the show a week previously.

During Duval’s interview, he joked that if he found out a woman was transgender, he might kill her. See the clip.
His comments warranted a response from transgender actress and activist, Laverne Cox. See her tweets below.
April Reign (speaker, activist and social media influencer who created the #OscarsSoWhite hashtag) chimed in, along with other trans leaders calling out the show and starting a #breakfastclubboycott hashtag.
Duval has also responded. See his tweet below.
Are you offended by Duval’s comments and should the radio show be boycotted?Â
