Despite all of the drama this season on Basketball Wives LA, Jackie Christie will not throw up the deuces to the hit VH1 show. During a recent interview, the reality star was asked why she continued to return, season after season, amidst ongoing drama. Jackie admitted that she fees like she “built” the show.

It’s my baby. I built this. I been here. I cultivated it. I built the audience.

She adds,

And that’s why I continue to do it because it’s a thing with me now where this is my following, this is my legacy I’m leaving behind.

Basketball Wives LA cast

Jackie, who is married to former NBA player Doug Christie, has been on the show for six seasons since the spin-off aired in 2011. It is the Los Angeles-based spin-off of Basketball Wives, which was originally based in Miami.
