Teyana Taylor Prepping New Album

Rumor has it, new Teyana Taylor music is on the way. Reportedly, the 26-year-old singer has plans to release a new album on Halloween of this year.

Taylor, who shares a daughter with husband NBA baller Iman Shumpert, signed with Pharrell’s Star Trak Entertainment imprint in 2007. In 2012, she signed to Kanye West’s GOOD Music label through Def Jam, after asking for her release from Star Trak. As an aspiring songwriter, Taylor has worked with and written records for major artists such as Usher, Chris Brown, and Omarion.

She released VII, her debut studio album, in 2014. The album was released by Def Jam Recordings and GOOD Music.

Over the weekend, she took home the Moon Person for Best Choreography at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards. She paid homage to Janet Jackson, wearing the same outfit and hairstyle that the iconic singer wore in 1995, when she attended the VMAs and took home multiple awards for her “Scream,” collaboration with her brother, Michael Jackson.

No additional details about her new album have been released.
