Tamar Braxton Files For Divorce
Tamar Braxton has reportedly filed for divorce, ending her marriage to her husband manager Vincent Herbert. She is said to have filed on Tuesday in Los Angeles County. No word on what triggered the split, but an incident in 2016, led some to believe that the couple were having difficulties in their marriage.
The pair were reportedly involved in a domestic dispute, in which Vincent was accused of biting Tamar. At the time, neither addressed the alleged situation. Click here and here for the backstory.
Earlier this month, the couple put their Calabassas mansion on the market. And last month, Tamar announced that she would no longer put out another album, in an effort to protect her marriage. She explained,
There’s a lot of things that are going on in my relationship and me being close to this music industry, and whatever I can do to eliminate all of the stress and problems off of my relationship, I would rather do that.
She continued,
My husband [music executive Vince Herbert] and I work very close together and it’s really hard, you know? Not only do we work together, he is my baby daddy and, you know, we’ve been together forever. He’s my best friend. It’s a lot of things to discuss and argue about.
Tamar and Vince have been married for nineyears and share a 4-year-old son, Logan. The reality star and singer reportedly moved out of the home they shared. Neither have released a statement about their divorce.
