Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Are Engaged

Prince Harry (33) and Meghan Markle (36) are engaged! The news was announced by the royal family on Monday. The prince is a grandson of Queen Elizabeth II and is fifth in line to the throne. His father is Prince Charles and mother was the late Princess Diana.

Throughout their relationship, the couple has continued to make headlines. Last year, the actress had been the subject of intense media scrutiny, which prompted the prince to denounce the “racial undertones” of news coverage of Markle, whose mother is black and whose father is white.

The pair have dated for more than a year. The wedding will take place next spring. Congrats to them!
