Meek Mill & Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Sued Over Murdered Concertgoer
Despite being behind bars, Meek Mill is facing a lawsuit. Reportedly, the 30-year-old rapper and Jay-Z’s Roc Nation, have been hit with a lawsuit by the family of a man who was shot and killed in the parking lot of a theater last December.
The family of Jaquan Graves is suing the rapper and music company, which is owned by Jay-Z, over a tragic incident that happened the Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford, Connecticut, December 31st. Graves’ family stated that the ‘thugs’ allowed there were ‘argumentative, angry, disorderly and disruptive’ to fellow concertgoers.
A second person was shot and killed that same night, and they also filed a lawsuit against.
The lawsuit says that Graves left the theater when the shots were first heard, and he was hit by a bullet and killed. The victims – both male – died upon arriving to the hospital and two others were taken with non-life threatening injuries.
Meek is currently in a Pennsylvania prison after he was sentenced to two to four years for violating probation.
