Mindy Kaling Refuses To Reveal Baby Daddy’s Identity

Mindy Kaling is keeping the identity of her child’s father completely under wraps. This week, we reported that the 38-year-old actress welcomed a baby girl named Katherine Swati Kaling. Baby Katherine was born on December 15. According to reports, on her daughter’s birth certificate, the baby daddy is noticeably absent.

Throughout her pregnancy, Kaling, who co-stars on the upcoming films Ocean’s 8 and A Wrinkle In Time, has refused to comment on the mystery man’s identity.

Meanwhile, her daughter’s middle name appears to be a tribute to her late mother (who passed in 2012) who was named Swati.

In October, Kaling opened up about her pregnancy, stating,

I’m very, very pregnant. I’ve had a pretty great time of it so far, but I think I took a lot for granted before this, now that I’m in my current situation. Like, sitting, I’m obsessed with sitting and even when I was standing back there I was looking at this chair and I was like, “Awww, can’t wait to sit in that chair!”

She has yet to confirm the birth of her daughter.
