Tracee Ellis Ross Paid Significantly Less Than Anthony Anderson On Black-Ish: Actress May Appear Less On Show
Tracee Ellis Ross Paid Significantly Less Than Anthony Anderson
We may be seeing less of Tracee Ellis Ross on Black-Ish. According to reports, she is making significantly less than the star of the show, Anthony Anderson. Anderson helped create the series and is also an executive producer.
Reportedly, the 45-year-old actress may appear on less episodes if she feels that her upcoming contract for the fifth season isn’t what she considers fair. Sources say Ross may also guest appear on another show.
So why does Ross make less? Sources note that Anderson’s role is much different than Ross’, which reflects in the pay difference. Anderson has also been attached to Black-ish from the start.
This news comes amidst the new conversation surrounding women who are fighting for equal pay and work in Hollywood and other industries.

However, if he is the executive producer and helped come up with the concept for the show, then I feel he is entitled to receive more cash.
Nevertheless I love the show and their chemistry together on screen!
Dont fucc up a beautiful thang!!
I agree with you. If we are going to talk about a pay gap based on gender, I want to see a man and a woman who are actually doing the same job, for nearly the same amount of time, who make a significantly different amount of money
