Drake Takes Shots At Joe Budden, Addresses Relationship w/ J.Lo
Drake has returned with new music. On Friday night, the 31-year-old rapper released an EP called Scary Hours. The EP featured two tracks, “God’s Plan” and “Diplomatic Immunity.”
On his Diplomatic Immunity track, he appears to take aim at Joe Budden and his stint on Everyday Struggle. He rhymes,
Sh*t is complex like short n*ggas ’round tall ladies. I gotta watch who I’m talkin’ to like it’s all agents. I’ve seen buddin’ careers turn to sit around and talk about other careers, judgin’ their peers. Knowledge from niggas who did not contribute to none of this hear.
Budden has yet to respond, while DJ Akademiks, who is also on Everyday Struggle responded.
On the same track, he also addresses his rumored relationship with J.Lo.
As you’ll recall, last year, the pair sparked dating rumors, hitting parties together and posting cute flicks on the ‘Gram. While some chalked up the alleged relationship as a publicity stunt, Drizzy hinted of them potentially being a thing at one point when he rhymed,
2010, when I lost my halo / 2017, I lost a J.Lo
