Suge Knight’s Former Lawyers Arrested, Held On $1 Million Bail
Two of Suge Knight’s former lawyers, Matthew Fletcher and Thaddeus Culpepper, have been arrested. The two previously represented Knight in his murder case. Reportedly, Fletcher (53) was held on $1 million bail and had been arrested for accessory after the fact, defined in California law as,
Harboring, concealing or aiding a person whom you know has committed a felony, in order to protect him or her from arrest, trial, conviction and/or sentencing.
Culpepper was also arrested for accessory after the fact. Previously, Los Angeles County prosecutors claimed Fletcher, Culpepper and the Knight had tried to bribe witnesses. The alleged conversations about convincing witnesses to fabricate testimony were recorded and transcriptions were presented in court.
As previously reported, is currently in jail awaiting trial. The Death Row Records founder has been accused of killing Terry Carter in January 2015. He is charged with murder, attempted murder and hit-and-run and expected. His trial begins later this year.
