Luenell Asks Netflix For Comedy Special

Amidst Mo’Nique’s controversy with Netflix, looks like fellow comedian Luenell is campaigning for a shot with the popular streaming service. Luenell took to social media writing,

No shade at All but……Hey @netflix why not take a chance on me! Actually, you wouldn’t be taking a chance at All because humbly…I’m a Sure THING baby! You may not know me but u Should! You don’t have to take my word for it just ask my followers what They think. I’m Long overdue for a “break”! Get ur research team on it and lets take a meeting!

She also asked some directors and celebrities to assist with her ask, writing:

I think I am going to check her out when she comes to town to see how funny she is doing stand up.

However, it’s definitely shady when your fellow black female comedians are saying Netflix underpaying them and you say, well, if they won’t do it, then I will. And I get it, she has bills and a family to take care of. This is why black people can’t get MORE things done. Gotta stick together!

SHE KEPT QUIET AND GOT HERSELF ANOTHER JOB THAT SHE HASN’T REVEALED WHAT THE PAY IS.
