Rihanna Trashes Snapchat: You Ain’t That Dumb, Shame On You!
Rihanna Trashes Snapchat
Rihanna is slamming Snapchat. Today (March 15th), the singer posted a lengthy social media message criticizing the social media app for what she feels was an advertisement poking fun of domestic violence. She writes,
No Snapchat I know you already know you ain’t my fav app out there! But I’m just saying trying to figure out what the point was with this mess! I’d love to call it ignorance, but I know you ain’t that dumb!

As previously reported, Snapchat issued an apology for publishing an ad on their social media platform that featured the singer and her ex boyfriend Chris Brown. Users accused them of ‘making light’ of domestic violence. The ad was a game called ‘Would You Rather’, in which they asked users to select a choice between slapping Rihanna and punching Chris Brown.
The ad was slammed for appearing “tone deaf” due to Brown’s conviction for assaulting Rihanna in his car in 2009 while the pair were in a relationship. Snapchat removed the ad and issued an apology.
The advert was reviewed and approved in error, as it violates our advertising guidelines. We immediately removed the ad last weekend, once we became aware. We are sorry that this happened.
Should Rihanna accept Snapchat’s apology?

There apology is not sincere. Some of this stuff is so blatantly obvious, it shouldn’t even be created. They got what they wanted, their name in the headlines.
