Nick Gordon Arrested AGAIN, Spends Night w/ Girlfriend He Allegedly Choked & Beat, Violates No Contact Order
Nick Gordon is spending more time behind bars. According to reports, he was arrested Monday night for violating a no contact order banning him from going near his girlfriend, Laura Leal, the same woman that he has been accused of repeatedly physically abusing.
Gordon was booked into jail in Sanford, Florida, just before midnight. Despite a judge ordering Gordon and Leal to stay apart, deputies are said to have received an anonymous call informing them that he was spending the night with her.
As previously reported, a judge hit him with a no contact order following his previous arrest on March 10 for allegedly attacking Leal. Officers stated that Leal had a busted lip after arriving at Gordon’s home following a late night disturbance. At the time, he was arrested for battery domestic violence.
She later refused to press charges and even wrote to the judge asking for the order to be rescinded. However the order remained in place. Gordon was booked into the John E. Polk Correctional Facility on a charge of violating pre-trial conditions for his domestic violence case.
Unfortunately, this is the third time within the same year that Gordon has been arrested since dating Leal and accused of domestic violence.
Prior to dating Leal, Gordon dated Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina. She died in 2015 after she spent six months in a coma having been found unconscious in a bathtub. She was 22. Gordon was found legally responsible for her death.
He has never faced criminal charges but was sued by Brown’s estate, accused of causing her wrongful death by giving her a ‘toxic mixture’ of drugs as well as stealing from her bank account while she was comatose.
When neither he, nor his lawyer, showed up at a hearing in November 2016, a judge in Fulton County, Georgia ruled against him by default and ordered him pay $36 million in damages.
