Drake To Producer ‘Detail’ – If You’re Suing Me, You Have To Show Up For Court!

theJasmineBRAND exclusively reports, Drake is calling out a music producer who is suing him over an alleged beat down. Music producer Detail (real name Noel Fisher) sued Drake and his bodyguard Chubbs over an alleged physical altercation at the rapper’s Los Angeles mansion.

Here’s the backstory: Detail says the incident happened back in 2014. The producer says that he was invited by Drizzy to his home to discuss them working together again. Details says that things immediately went south when he arrived. He says that when he encountered Chubbs at Drake’s residence, the bodyguard punched him in his face. In the lawsuit, he says that the injury broke his jaw, causing him to be hospitalized and undergo several surgeries. He claims that he asked Drake to cover his medical bills, but the rapper refused and as a result, he filed suit seeking unspecified damages.

Drake responded to the lawsuit, saying his bodyguard only acted in self-defense and denied all allegations of wrongdoing.

Here’s the latest: On March 19th, Drake’s legal team filed demanding Detail be sanctioned for refusing to show up to his deposition. Drake says that the producer inexplicably and unreasonably is ceasing to move forward with his own lawsuit. He accuses Detail of deliberately failing to cooperate in the case.

He says a deposition was scheduled for last month, but Detail failed to show up and has not communicated with his lawyers regarding why he missed the appointment. Drake also says Detail has failed to produce other documents and attend other meetings. Drake wants the judge to order monetary sanctions against Detail for his conduct. He also wants the lawsuit dismissed.
